In this video we are changing the engine oil and filter 1,000 kms after a Full engine REBUILD. A common misconception is that BMW N63 and S63 engines can run for 15,000kms before having an oil change and this is actually what causes the majority of the issues on cars equiped with these engines. If you drive an M5, M6, X5M, X6M with an S63 engine, or any of the 50i versions with an N63, (such as 550i 650i 750i X5 50i) be sure to change you oil more frequently and watch this video to understand a bit more about the oil, filter and how quickly it gets dirty. BMW S63b44 and N63b44 share the same engine block and several other parts.
